Before you join

Sign into a free Microsoft/Xbox Live account in Minecraft — required to connect, no purchase needed.

⚙ Join on Xbox, Switch or PlayStation

Consoles only show Minecraft's featured servers. To reach MichonLand, you point the console's network settings (DNS) at a free service called BedrockConnect. When you then pick a featured server, it shows you a server list instead, where you can type in our address. You only set this up once per console.

Xbox (Series X/S and One)
  1. Press the Xbox button → Profile & system → Settings → General → Network settings → Advanced settings → DNS settings → Manual.
  2. Primary IPv4 DNS: 104.238.130.180
  3. Secondary IPv4 DNS: 8.8.8.8 — then press B to save and go back.
  4. Open Minecraft → Play → Servers tab.
  5. Join any of the featured servers (The Hive, Lifeboat, Mineville, Galaxite or Enchanted). Instead of that server, a Server List menu pops up — that means it worked.
  6. Choose Connect to a Server and enter:
    Server Address: play.michonland.com   Port: 19132
  7. Tick Add to server list so next time it's one tap, then Submit. Welcome to MichonLand!
Nintendo Switch
  1. From the HOME Menu: System Settings → Internet → Internet Settings → pick your Wi-Fi → Change Settings → DNS Settings → Manual.
  2. Primary DNS: 104.238.130.180
  3. Secondary DNS: 8.8.8.8 — then Save.
  4. Open Minecraft → Play → Servers tab.
  5. Join any of the featured servers (The Hive, Lifeboat, Mineville, Galaxite or Enchanted). Instead of that server, a Server List menu pops up — that means it worked.
  6. Choose Connect to a Server and enter:
    Server Address: play.michonland.com   Port: 19132
  7. Tick Add to server list so next time it's one tap, then Submit. Welcome to MichonLand!
Switch needs a Nintendo Switch Online membership to play online.
PlayStation 4 / 5
  1. Settings → Network → Settings → Set Up Internet Connection → pick your network → Advanced Settings → DNS Settings: Manual.
  2. Primary DNS: 45.55.68.52 (PlayStation uses a different number)
  3. Secondary DNS: 8.8.8.8 — then OK.
  4. Open Minecraft → Play → Servers tab.
  5. Join any of the featured servers (The Hive, Lifeboat, Mineville, Galaxite or Enchanted). Instead of that server, a Server List menu pops up — that means it worked.
  6. Choose Connect to a Server and enter:
    Server Address: play.michonland.com   Port: 19132
  7. Tick Add to server list so next time it's one tap, then Submit. Welcome to MichonLand!
Not working? Fixes
  • The featured server opens normally (no Server List): the DNS change didn't take. Double-check the numbers, then fully restart the console.
  • No internet, or it won't connect after changing DNS: that BedrockConnect server is busy or blocked. Swap the primary DNS for a backup: 134.255.231.119 or 57.128.153.204
  • "Unable to connect to world": check the light at the top of this page is green. If it is, try again in a minute.
  • "Outdated client" or "outdated server": update Minecraft on the console. The server updates itself every night.
  • Other games or apps acting strange? Set DNS back to Automatic when you're done, and switch it to manual again next time you play.
BedrockConnect is a free community service, not run by us or Microsoft. If it ever stops working, play from a phone, tablet or Windows PC instead — those connect directly with the address above.

➤ Server Commands

Type these in the chat box (press T on PC or tap the chat bubble on phone/tablet/console). They work for everyone and in any dimension.

/sethomeSaves the exact spot you're standing on as your home. Use it again any time to move your home somewhere new.
/homeTeleports you back to your saved home — even from the Nether or the End.
/returnTeleports you back to the MichonLand spawn.

Tip: set your home inside your base, not out in the open, so you never land somewhere dangerous. Each player has their own home.
